Review notes
- Source article is very brief and does not include the exact UI path for conversion or export, so steps are kept high-level and conservative.
- No permissions, plan limits, or other caveats were provided beyond Flash support ending, so none were added beyond that constraint.
- Related articles are suggested from metadata and adjacent workflow needs; URLs were not provided.
Summary
If your Powtoon was created in Classic Studio as a Flash Powtoon, you can’t export it until you convert it to HTML5 first. Once the conversion is complete, export the converted Powtoon.
Before you start
- Confirm that the Powtoon was created in Classic Studio and is still in Flash format.
- Be aware that Flash Powtoons are no longer supported.
- You’ll need to convert the Powtoon to HTML5 before export is available.
Steps
- Open the Powtoon you want to export.
- Convert the Powtoon from Flash to HTML5.
- Wait for the conversion to finish.
- Export the Powtoon after the HTML5 version is available.
What happens next
After the Powtoon is converted to HTML5, export should be available for that version. If the Powtoon is still in Flash format, export is not supported.
